Penile Skin Tunnels or Skin Bridges
It has been said that the highest cosmetic calling that can be given to a urologist is circumcisions.
Commonplace practice for us here every week is to do several adult male circumcisions and a handful of revisions. Our work is second to none, and, because of that, we have a reputation for excellence and exactitude in performing adult circumcision and revision. The tolerances with which we circumcise the penis are around 1/32" or about 1/mm.
Because of our circumcision precision and expertise, our patients experience no pain. In fact, it would not be stretch to say that our patients smile when they exit the office, as they almost always are free of discomfort that can best be evidenced by our post-operative correspondence with them.
My experiences of witnessing so many circumcised penises, who inevitably appeared like they were done much later in life largely due to the irregularly meeting of skin and large suture tracts, the approach I have developed could best be described as unique because I wanted to ensure that this would not ever happen to my patients. I have seen no reason to deviate from it during the past 15 years.
In terms of procedure, I consult with the patient first to understand precisely the type of circumcision result he is looking for. This could be loose or tight, some unpigmented skin or some left or the removal of the frenulum or the preservation of it. To create a perfect alignment, only a fine plastic suture is needed.
Our fee is $250 for consultation. The charge for circumcision including local anesthesia and use of the facility is an additional $1750.
If interested in an adult male circumcision or revision procedure, you will need to have a phone consultation the results in one with a positive response to questions of concern and also have letters of clearance. Should everything go accordingly, you will be approved to drop in a 50% deposit that is non-refundable.
If there is further interest please call Anne our amiable office manager who will assist with arrangements.
Please no aspirin or aspirin products, no anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil, Alleve) or Cox 2 inhibitors such as Celebrex or Vioxx for 2 weeks before surgery. No Vitamin E or excessive alcohol or spices for 2 weeks before surgery as this may promote bruising. Bruising can be reduced (many believe) with
Bromelain 500 mg 1 twice a day, Arnica montana (Boiron brand) dose 30C (take 4 small tablets sublingually, 4 times a day), vitamin C 500 mg (3 times a day) starting 1 week before surgery. Do take these medications unless there are specific reasons why you choose not to and let's discuss it beforehand.
Boiron brand is available at Whole Foods and on the web at http://www.vitaminshoppe.com for "pennies" and we do notice a difference. You will need 2 vials.

Adult Freehand Circumcision - David's Journal
After careful consideration and many years of research, I decided to contact Dr. Harold Reed in Florida. I visited the website (www.penisdoctor.com) and filled out the online questionnaire. I immediately received a pleasant response from the doctor himself answering some of my questions and telling me what things I should consider. After so many years on CIRCLIST, I had already considered each item he mentioned, but none the less, it was good of him to give me a bit of homework before my planned visit. I called his office and spoke to Anne to make the appointment in 2 months time. Read More...
